About Us
Grant and Paula live in the beach side village of Terrigal, NSW Australia. They are a hop, step and a jump from their favourite underwater playground where local dive sites can be accessed directly from the shore or a dive boat.
Grant and Paula regularly travel to dive locations around Australia and overseas. Frequented locations in Australia include South West Rocks, Nelson Bay, Jervis Bay, Lady Musgrave Island, the Coral Sea and the Solitary Islands off the Mid North Coast of NSW. Overseas destinations include Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, Philippines, Maldives, Komodo, Bali, Alaska and Nova Scotia.
Grant and Paula are very fortunate to be involved with the local dive club, Terrigal Underwater Group (TUG) which has operated out of the Terrigal Haven since 1978. The dive boat, TUG 2, is owned, skippered, crewed and maintained by club members on a voluntary basis. Both Grant and Paula are honoured to have served as past presidents and Grant currently holds the position on the TUG committee.
The club regularly ventures to out of area dive sites for weekend and mid week trips. When TUG 2 is unavailable Grant and Paula dive from their own 4.8 meter inflatable or join up with many of the other club members who also have their own boats.
Both have a keen interest in marine ecology and regularly participate in reef and fish surveys for the HarbourKeepers and CoastKeepers organisations.
Diving health and safety is very much part of their every day diving practice.
